Driver Anthony Coletta, 31, is in critical condition at the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia after suffering injuries in a race at Harrah's Philadelphia late Sunday afternoon. Coletta suffered head injuries and was in critical condition late Sunday evening after surgery.
Coletta was involved in an accident in Race 11. In the last turn of the race, the Marcus Miller-driven Rocknmyjeans was racing fourth when he fell. A chain reaction ensued with Coletta, racing fifth with Straightup Tequila, thrown into the air when his horse became involved. Tyler Butenshoen and George Napolitano Jr. were also unseated but along with Miller, walked away without serious injuries.
