Both divisions of the Colonial Trot for 3-year-old colts at Woodbine Friday night (June 20) resulted in big upsets.

The first $122,442 division saw Carl Allen drive Holy Guacamolie to a huge 1:54.2 victory, holding off the determined betting favorite Amigo Hall by a nose. Allen, unable to find an early hole, moved Holy Guacamolie to the front, but then found himself under extreme pressure from Amigo Hall and driver Trevor Ritchie. The two raced side by side through the stretch, with Holy Guacamolie holding game to win at odds of 13-1.

The second $124,005 Colonial division went to 12-1 Hawaiian Clipper, who benefited from a two-hole trip from driver Keith Oliver to win in 1:56.2. Vrahos (Carl Allen) finished second, with outsider Fillgood (J.P. Dubois) third.
