Trainer Bob Stewart told The Horseman Wednesday afternoon that he is scratching Eilean Donon out of Saturday's $391,200 Yonkers Trot at Hawthorne Race Course, leaving a field of six in the second leg of the Trotting Triple Crown.

"He's out. He will be scratched," said Stewart. "He'll be fine. He's got a low white count and fighting a viral infection. Hopefully, his next start will be the Simcoe (at Mohawk Racetrack Sept. 11) before the Canadian Trotting Classic (elims at Mohawk Sept. 18)."

Hambletonian winner Windsong's Legacy is the 8-5 favorite in the Yonkers Trot, leaving from post one. Reigning Trotter of the Year Cantab Hall moves into post four as the 2-1 second choice. Also in the field is 2003 Peter Haughton Memorial winner Tom Ridge, Photo Color, American Mike and Castle Of Fortune.
