Corleone Kosmos drew off in the lane and captured the $190,000 American National for trotters 4 years old and up in 1:53.1 Saturday night at Balmoral Park.

With John Campbell in the bike, Corleone Kosmos sat fourth past the :55.4 half before moving first-over. Just pas the 1:25.2 third quarter Corleone Kosmos drew even with Man About Town at the head of the field. But then the 5-year-old gelded son of SJ’s Photo began edging away and was in the lead by more than three lengths at the wire over Two Weeks Notice, with Justice Hall closing late for third.

Owned by Arthur Rudolph, Rudolph Stables and Bernard Owen and trained by Paul Blumenfeld, Corleone Kosmos notched his sixth victory of the year in 14 starts.
