The Artiscape-sired fillies Lady Mattgalane and Me And My Baby took the two $69,100 Countess Adios divisions at the Meadowlands Wednesday night, turning in 1:53 and 1:54.2 miles, respectively.

Lady Mattgalane upset the first division field, paying $42.40 to win with her three-length score.

Hanover Shoe Farms sold Lady Mattgalane as a yearling for $50,000. Ron Pierce drove the winner for trainer Richard Norman. Perretti Racing Stable LLC and Clay and Scott Horner own Lady Mattgalane, who was racing for money for the first time in her career.

Me And My Baby picked up her second stakes score in three career starts when she won the second split. Betting Machine made a first-over move down the backstretch to challenge Me And My Baby, but she broke stride. In the stretch drive Catch The Show rallied for second, but never seriously threatened Me And My Baby.

Bruce Nickells trains Me And My Baby for longtime client Glenby Farms, which also bred the filly. Nickells also raced the filly’s dam, the stakes-winning My Baby And Me.
