Cynthia Paisley, wife of Walter Paisley, dies

Cynthia Kay Paisley (Smith), 52, the wife of longtime Standardbred driver Walter Paisley, died Sept. 29 after a seven-year battle with breast cancer.
 
She was born Oct. 28, 1958, and held various jobs during the course of her lifetime, but her favorite and most important, was being a wife and mother.

In addition her husband, she is survived by her children, Paige, Morgan and Grant; step-mother, Barbara Smith; sisters, LuAnn (Brian) Talsma, Deana (Michael) Kinzler and Chris (Casey) Cherry; brothers, Richard (Judy) Smith and Steven (Tony) Lantz; and several nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her son, William; and her parents, C. Deane Smith and Mary Coleman Smith.

A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, Oct. 6. Memorial contributions may be made to Paige Paisley Education Fund, Citizens State Bank, Stockton, IL, or FHN Hospice, Freeport, IL. (USTA)
