Hall of Fame harness driver David Miller is in for a busy working holiday while Down Under with his wife, Misty, and friends Richard "Nifty" Norman and his wife.
Miller drove a winner at Addington Park on Friday night, winning a 1950 meter race with the 3-year-old trotter Show Gait (Majestic Son-Sierra Roydon-Sierra Kosmos). Miller had six drives on the card and also picked up a second.
He’ll then venture on to new ground, quite literally, when he competes on the grass track surface at Motukarara in five races on Sunday. Not only will he face a grass surface, but he’ll have the unique opportunity to compete in a standing start event, a format not used in the USA and Canada.
