Deweycheatumnhowe will greet the public, and pose for photos and pats on the nose, on Saturday at Historic Track in Goshen, New York. The \"meet and greet Dewey\" event will take place from 11 am to noon behind the track\'s grandstand.

“Dewey” was raised and has been trained in Orange County.  This will be the only chance for the public to see Dewey up close, pet him and get their photo taken with him.  His last race is expected to be the Nov. 29 Breeders Crown at the Meadowlands.

The first 150 visitors will get a signed photo of Dewey in his “triathlete” training regimen--driving, riding and swimming. The first 100 children will get a harness racing coloring book.  There will be a drawing for one of Dewey’s very lucky horse shoes, with entries to be deposited in the adjacent Harness Racing Museum at 240 Main Street.  Free hot cider and cookies will be served at the Museum.
