Dink Adoo charged to the lead on the backstretch and held off the late challenge of Lhasa Muscles to win the $20,000 second round of the Father Foley Series in 1:53 Sunday afternoon at the Meadowlands. Dink Adoo won by three-quarters of a length for driver Brian Sears, who also set a single-month victory record with his 65th win.

Dink Adoo is owned by the Panhellenic Stable Corp. and trained by Ken Rucker. Dink Adoo picked up his second straight win and fifth of the year. He has not been off the board in nine starts in 2006.

Dink Adoo provided Sears with his Meadowlands-record-setting 65th win of the month. He eclipsed the 64 wins for a single month posted by John Campbell in April of 1986. It was the 52nd time this year that Sears has won two or more races on a program and the 36th straight card on which he has had at least one trip to the Meadowlands\' winner\'s circle.
