Kim Gadino’s Docdor Libby ($7, Ross Wolfenden) earned her sixth win of the year in the $22,500 Mares Open at Harrington Raceway Tuesday in 1:53.4.

The 5-year-old Camluck mare sat behind pacesetter No Bad Luck throughout the mile before surging by the game leader in the final strides. Melissa’s Fancy, who had won the past two distaff events, finished third.

For ‘Libby’, the win served as redemption for last week’s fifth place finish as the beaten favorite. Trained by Joe Hundertpfund Jr., she has banked more than $115,000 in 2011.

Drivers Jon Roberts, Allan Davis and Corey Callahan each had two winners. (Harrington Raceway)
