Do Me Honor dueled with Tremor Hanover for the early lead, briefly yielding to the pocket before Aaron Merriman had her out and moving again at the quarter. The 5-year-old Cheyenne Rei-Do Me Right mare thwarted the first-over challenge of Red Star Hottie and survived the late rush of Ole Miss, who fell 1/2 length short in finishing second. Ideal Treasure was third in the 1:54.1 mile.
Bill Bercury trains and owns Do Me Honor, who now boasts $268,088 in career earnings. Dave Palone drove five winners and Eric Ledford three on the 16-race card. (The Meadows)
