Pompano Park officials are reportedly going to ask the city of Pompano Beach to create an exemption that will allow it to serve alcohol at its 1,500-slot machine facility when it opens in March until 4 a.m. Current regulations prohibit business in the city to serve alcohol between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. daily, except for Sunday when the deadline is extended until noon.

\"I think everyone knows when you have a situation like slot machines and racing, alcohol sales is a necessary supplement,\" Alan Koslow, attorney for Isle of Capri Casinos Inc., which owns Pompano Park, told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
