Copywriter wasn't about to be denied her fourth straight win in Lexington, and Cabrini Hanover won her third straight at The Red Mile, in divisions of the Glen Garnsey Memorial.

Driver George Brennan left strongly with Copywriter from post six, but when the inside horse Roller Cam shot to the front as well and the pace quickened, Brennan tucked in along the pylons. After Roller Cam hit the quarter in :27, Brennan brushed his filly to the front and that's where they remained for the 1:51.4 victory.

Restive Hanover rallied from second-over and finished second while Armbro Caviar was third.

Copywriter, a 3-year-old filly by Artsplace, is owned by Brittany Farms and trained by Chris Ryder.

Cabrini Hanover overcame a first-over bid--part of it pacing into the wind--to win her Garnsey Memorial split in 1:52 over Belovedangel. Up Front Dragonfly set much of the pace in the mile and held on for third.

Jimmy Takter trains Cabrini Hanover for owners David Willmot and Bob Anderson of Canada.
