Oliver Jackson (1:53.2), Speed Demon (1:54), Eleven AM (1:54) and Woodrow Wilson champ Village Jolt (1:55) captured the four Metro eliminations at Woodbine Saturday night. With four elims, the winners and second-place finishers along with two third-place finishers drawn by lot advanced to the final.

The track was sloppy, but that didn't stop the Western Hanover colt Oliver Jackson from winning the first elim in 1:53.2 after several horses broke stride shortly after the start. Load The Dice finished second to also clinch a spot in the final. Banner Yankee, a winner of five of six starts going into the race, broke stride in the homestretch and finished fourth, failing to qualify.

Speed Demon, a son of Life Sign, won over Realiscape and Philosopher King.

Eleven AM picked up his fourth win in six starts when he popped out of the pocket in the homestretch and paced on to a win. Shnghai Phil, the pacesetter, was two lengths back in second while Up Front Tornado was three lengths back in third.

Village Jolt, a Cam's Card Shark colt, won the final elim over Up Front chrlie and Beach Boy Joey.
