Galantine wins Cam Fella

Galantine Hanover made his move to the front at the mid-point of the $126,000 ( C ) Cam Fella Pacing Series final and went on to score a 1:52.1 victory at Woodbine Saturday night.



Driven by Mike Saftic, the 4-year-old Grinfromeartoear stallion took the lead from Great Expense shortly after the :55.2 half. He passed the three quarters in 1:24 and with a :28.1 final panel held off Quiet Flight and Chris Christoforou by 2 3/4 lengths. Crombes Last Laugh and Steve Condren were third.



Owned by Sampson Street Stable, Deena Frost, Jerry Silva and Mathias Meinzinger, Galantine Hanover won a series preliminary leg last week and was second in the first leg. This was his sixth lifetime victory in 26 starts. He now has lifetime earnings of $224,888.
