Garland Crown OM, a half sister to 1994 Hambletonian winner Victory Dream and 1998 Delvin Miller Memorial runner-up Dream Valley OM, led wire to wire to win Thursday night's $15,000 2-year-old filly trot for Kentucky-sired Breeders Classic eligibles.

With Sonny Patterson driving for the first time for trainer Jan Johnson, Garland Crown OM crossed the wire 3 1/2 lengths ahead of runner-up Stunning Holly (Marcus Johansson) in :59.1. Again Again (Jim Meittinis) finished third.

It was the first win in five starts for the daughter of Garland Lobell-Crown Dream. She is also a half sister to 2005 Hambletonian starter Mr. Dream OM. Garland Crown OM is owned by Scuderia O.M. Srl. and Scuderia Tre Bessi Sas.

Also on the card, recent Hudson Filly Trot division winner Dodger Blues coasted to a 3 1/2-length win in 1:56.2 in an early-closing event. The victory was one of five winners on the card for driver Meittinis.

The Hudson win was the first in 11 starts for Dodger Blues, a daughter of Muscles Yankee-Vernon Blue Chip. Her Red Mile effort was her second straight victory and it lowered her mark set in the Hudson over the half-mile track at Freehold by one-fifth of a second.

Brett Bittle trains Dodger Blues for owners David Scharf, Charles Keller III, Charles Keller IV and E. Daniel Bittle.
