Glittering Beaches sat through a slow first quarter in :30 then motored into the lead just past the :58 half and cruised home to capture the $54,350 Kentucky Sire Stakes 3-year-old colt and gelding pace final at The Red Mile Saturday night in 1:52.4 by 1 1/2 lengths over Minor De Best and Fleet Week.

The victory was the second in a row and seventh in 13 starts this year for the 3-year-old Jenna's Beach Boy gelding owned by Victory Hill Farm, trained by Bret Pelling and driven to victory by Tyler Stillings.

Also on The Red Mile's card were two Lexington Breeders Classic 2-year-old colt pace eliminations. The first was won by Joe To Go (Jenna's Beach Boy) - his fourth straight triumph--and Jason Dillander in 1:53.1 while the second went to CR Fixed Asset (Jate Lobell) and Dillander in 1:55.4.

The card also included Diesel Don and Charlie Norris winning the Preferred Handicap Trot in 1:55.3. This was the first start back for the 3-year-old Muscles Yankee colt since breaking stride in the Stanley Dancer final and a 3-year-old open trot, both at the Meadowlands.
