Mako Sica captured the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund Race for 3-year-old colt and gelding pacers Thursday afternoon, one of four $100,000 stakes events on the annual Governor's Day card at Harrington Raceway during the Delaware State Fair.

With George Brennan driving, Mako Sika came up the passing lane to win in 1:55 over Wireless Hanover and pacesetter Valerin K. Trained by Ervin Miller for owner Lloyd Arnold, the win was the third of the year in six starts for the gelded son of Badlands Hanover.

Badlands Cowgirl won the final for sophomore pacing fillies with a 1:57.4 effort for driver Eddie Davis. The daughter of Badlands Hanover was sent off at odds of 16-1 as she defeated Bayland Lady and Vital Flyte to win for the fourth time in 19 starts this year. She is owned and trained by George Leager.

Med Vac was victorious in the race for 3-year-old colt and gelding trotters as John Wagner sent the son of CR Commando three wide around the final turn to win by 2 ¾ lengths over Maid To Command and Rusty's Biggie in 2:00.4. Adam Victor & Son Stable own Med Vac with Noel Daley the trainer.

CR Southern Peach led wire to wire to win the final for sophomore filly trotters in 2:02.2. Ross Wolfenden drove the winner for trainer Gary Price and owners Glen Wenzel and Daniel Mock.

The $40,000 Governor's Cup for older pacers went to Art Director, who led at every call en route to a 1:53.4 victory. Brad Hanners was in the sulky behind Art Director, and used the rail post position to his advantage as he parked Arizona Liar and driver Brian Sears the entire mile. Arizona Liar still managed to finish second with JD's Dragon third.

Ann Other Porsche won the $30,000 Legislator's Cup for older pacing mares with a 1:54 effort for Hanners, who also directed Orillia Bam Bam to a 1:59 victory in the $30,000 Delaware Park Trot.
