Hambletonian Oaks rematch in Moni Maker

Bar Slide, fresh off her Aug. 7 victory in the Hambletonian Oaks, has drawn post eight in Thursday night's $232,750 Moni Maker 3-Year-Old Filly Trot at The Red Mile. Oaks runner-up Ultimate Cameron will leave from post four and Oaks third-place finisher Springtime Volo will leave from post five in the 12-horse field that was limited to the 12 richest entries.
Bar Slide, trained by Joe Holloway for local owner Rikki Caldwell and partner Bluestone Farms of New Jersey, has won three of nine starts this year with $472,359 in earnings. Tim Tetrick, who was behind the daughter of Yankee Glide in her Oaks win, will be in Lexington for the Moni Maker.
Ultimate Cameron, who earlier this year won the rich Elegantimage final at Mohawk, will have the driving services of Trevor Ritchie. The daughter of Yankee Glide is trained by Kentuckian Bob Stewart and owned by Diamond Creek Farm of Paris, Ky.
Springtime Volo, whose three wins this year includes a division of the Delvin Miller Memorial, will be driven by Dave Magee for trainer Jan Johnson and owner Kentuckiana Farms of Lexington.
The Moni Maker is scheduled as the seventh race on the card, which has a first-race post time of 6:30 p.m. Here is the field, including listed drivers:
