Hellava Hush trotted to a 1:56.4 victory Saturday (June 21) at Scioto Downs in winning the fastest of three $17,400 Tompkins-Geers divisions for 3-year-old colts.

Dave Palone guided Hellava Hush to the 2 3/4-length win over Limavady Lad. The win was the fourth of the year in five starts for the Lindy Lane gelding.

Stillbrook won his division for driver Ron Steck in 1:58, holding off Red Oak's Dot Com (Billy Herman) by a neck. The final split went to Hawaiian Music Man in an upset. With David Myers driving, Hawaiian Music Man was able to hold off the odds-on favorite Gold'n Riddle to win by a nose in 1:59.3.

Town Bullet took the first of two $23,300 Tompkins-Geers divisions for 3-year-old colt pacers with a 1:53.2 effort for driver Jim Dailey. Town Bullet got up by a neck late to edge 1-2 favorite Eddie Rocket for the win, his second of the year and easily a career best.

Sid The Squid won the second division for the sophomore colt pacers for Dan Noble, crossing the wire a length ahead of Reba's Rembrandt in 1:54.3. The time was a career mark for Sid The Squid, who won for the third time in seven starts this year after going winless in 17 attempts at two.
