Hellava Hush wins again

Hellava Hush won his $17,500 division of the Mack Lobell Trotting Series Friday night at Pompano Park in 1:53.4 for driver Tom Sells. The second Mack Lobell split went to former track record holder Ultimate Sundance, who trotted to a lifetime-best 1:54.2.



Sells sent Hellava Hush three wide at the three-quarters in 1:24.2 with Dunkster (Kurt Sugg) right on their heels. Under the wire Hellava Hush had 1 1/4 lengths on his rival with Railee Possible finished third.



Trained by Bill Gallagher, Hellava Hush is a $1 million career winner and undefeated in 2006 after three starts, all timed in under 1:54. He should be the overwhelming favorite in the $82,600 Mack Lobell Trotting Series final next Saturday.



Ultimate Sundance\\\'s win was the third in six starts for the 11-year-old gelding by Ultimate Kosmos. He was driven by Bruce Ranger and trained by Tom Beckette for the Ranger Stable.



The top nine point earners in the series that will return next Saturday for the $159,000 final are: Hellava Hush, Muscular, Ultimate Sundance, Dunkster, Justice Hall, Muscle Boss Vita, Guy Gets Girl, Tweedle Dum and Railee Possible.
