Her Own Art was a 1:52.4 winner Friday night (Aug. 29) at The Meadows, capturing the fastest of three Pennsylvania Sire Stakes splits for 3-year-old filly pacers.

With Brian Sears driving for trainer Bruce Saunders and owner M & M Harnss Racing LLC, Her Own Art (Arturo) won for the seventh time in 14 starts this year. Century Club was second for Doug Snyder in the $39,302 contest, with Island Estate and Chris Williams third.

The opening $38,902 PASS split changed complexion dramatically with the pre-race scratch sick of favorite Gordon's Jin Ms. Still, the betting choices in the reduced field of six finished one-two, as 4-5 fave Ciano (Dave Palone) won in 1:54 to defeat 7-5 second-choice Forever Cam (Brian Zendt). Keystone Saturate (Mike Wilder) was third.

Owned by Ed Hart, Laura De Lucia and William Jacobowitz, and trained by Linda Toscano, the daughter of Arturo won for the third time in 11 starts this year.

The final $39,302 PASS division went to the Western Hanover daughter Dreamland's Jo Jo, who toured the five-eighths mile oval in 1:53.4 for driver Doug Snyder. Trained by Joseph King and owned by Dreamland Farms, Dreamland's Jo Jo defeated Jennie Fanetta (Palone) and Myternintheshade (Zendt).
