Horseman Bryce Truitt, 59, dies

Bryce Truitt, 59, a longtime horseman from a family deeply rooted in racing, has died. He he was one of the leading drivers on the Maryland circuit during the 1980s. Most recently, he was active at Pennsylvania racetracks and on the fair circuit.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughter, Kristy and her husband, Fred; grandchildren Trevor and Alexander; and his father, Norwood.
Visitation will be held at the First Presbyterian Church,238 Market Street in Sunbury, PA, on Sunday (Dec. 28) from 2-3 pm, followed by services at 3 pm. A full obituary will follow at a later date.
