Isabella wins prep

Isabella Blue Chip prepped for next week’s $439,000 Three Diamonds final for 2-year-old filly pacers with a wire to wire 1:53.3 victory Saturday night at the Meadowlands in the $20,000 prep for seven of next week’s finalists. Tidewater Dragon Fly opted not to race in the prep.

With Jack Moiseyev in the bike, Isabella Blue Chip cut fractions of :29, :57.2 and 1:26 en route to her seventh triumph of the season in 14 starts. Catch The Show and Daniel Dube made a late rush to take second ahead of Little Miss Dragon and Jack Baggitt Jr.

Owned by Only Money Inc. and Teague Inc., the winning daughter of Bettor’s Delight goes into the final with earnings of $439,083. She’s trained by George Teague.

Also on Saturday’s card were three second-leg division of the Oil Burner Series for 3-year-old colt and gelding pacers. The winners were Delray (1:52.4), Ideal Michael (1:51.4) and Armbro Durablew (1:51.4).
