I Wanna Go Fast did just that outlegging eight rivals to a 1:54 victory in the $17,000 3,5-Year-Old pace on Sunday, Feb.13 at Dover Downs. Corey Callahan had a four-bagger.

With Daryl Bier rushing I Wanna Go Fast away from the starting gate to take the lead, the Three Olives-Toohappytobefussy gelding posted his second consecutive win, a 1:54 performance, for owner-trainer Brian Callahan. Furious Frank (Roger Plante) finished well to take second with Sams Treasure (Ron Pierce) third. Bluehurst was scratched.

Dom Rafanelli’s JK RU Bettor Yet and driver Roger Plante used front-pacing tactics to notch a 1:56 triumph in an $11,000 3,4&5-Year-Old pace for young distaffs on the undercard. A daughter of Bettor’s Delight-RU Girl, the win was her first of 2011. Sowhatsyourpoint (Tim Curtin) finished second in front of Butterscotch Babe (Corey Callahan).

Corey Callahan, now back in first place in the Leading Driver standings, won four races including both ends of the daily double. (Dover Downs)
