Jojo N Goliath ended a series of frustrating losses Wednesday when he made a decisive quarter-pole move and captured the $22,500 Preferred Pace at The Meadows. Although Jojo N Goliath had a victory in his five most recent starts, those four defeats were by two necks and two noses. He ensured there would be no close call Monday when he moved early from fourth for Eric Ledford and triumphed in 1:53.3 over a “good” surface. Valentowner rallied for second, 1/2 length back, while Biletnikoff was third.
