July 13, 2004

Last year's Sweetheart Pace winner So Artsi could be back racing for the Jugette, and she has a new trainer. Her 2004 campaign has been delayed due to an injury she suffered last September.

Lou Domiano, who shares ownership of the filly, said she is "back in training and we are pointing her for the Jugette (Sept. 22) at Delaware."

The filly's new trainer is Dick Macomber. Last year she was trained by Bill Robinson, who is under suspension in major racing jurisdictions.

So Artsi fractured a bone in her left front leg, “probably in the

Champlain, added Domiano. “Dick started back with her about two months ago and she’s trained in 2:20. We have a lot of confidence she will make it back.
