Driver Tim Tetrick told harnessracing.com Sunday morning that he didn't get home until 6:30 a.m. following Saturday night's card at the Meadowlands, but it wasn't because he was out celebrating his wins with Captaintreacherous in the $635,750 Meadowlands Pace and I Luv The Nitelife in the $184,250 Mistletoe Shalee.

There were plenty of traffic problems at the Meadowlands complex on Saturday night as the race card was contested at the same time as a Taylor Swift concert at adjacent MetLife Stadium. But it was limousine problems that led to Tetrick's adventureous trip home with his family.

Tetrick said he rented a limousine to take him and his wife, Ashley, and their children back home but mechanical problems not once, but twice, turned the approximate 100-mile journey to their home near Philadelphia into a trip that took several hours.

"We never even left the parking lot and it broke down, and we sat there for more than an hour waiting for another limo,” said Tetrick by cell phone shortly after arriving at Harrah's Philadelphia for Sunday afternoon's race card. "We got the other limo and that one broke down on the turnpike. After waiting an hour and half for the tow truck, I got home at 6:30.”
