Luc Ouellette fans can rejoice in the recent introduction of lucouellette.com. The new website--the first of its kind in the Standardbred world--contains biographical information, racing information, candid comments and a plethora of pictures about the 38-year-old driver.

The website is the brainchild of Greg Reinhart, a college student in Pennsylvania who has actually been a harness racing fan for less than two years. Ouellette says it all started at last year’s Little Brown Jug, which he won with Million Dollar Cam, when Reinhart—attending his first Jug—offered his congratulations.

“Then I went to race at The Meadows and I autographed a couple of pictures and whips for him,” remembered Ouellette. “He is a big fan and asked me if I would allow him to do (the website). I didn’t know how much time I would have to spend with him, but I will help him out as much as I could. I will continue to help him as long as he wants to do it. I guess I’m the first one in the business to have one.”

Ouellette said that Reinhart told him there have been more than 40,000 hits on the site since it came to fruition late during the 2003 Meadowlands meet. You can also use the links page on harnessracing.com and click on lucouellette.com in the etc. category.
