The win was the second in the last three starts for the four-year-old mare trained by Clarence Martin Jr. A 30-1 longshot in the race, Mac Martini held off a hard-charging Ashtoreth Hanover (Matt Kakaley) at the wire.

After four wins Tuesday evening, Larry Stalbaum inched closer to his 4,000th win of his career by collecting consecutive victories in Races 8 and 9 with Pick A Trail and Vivacious Raider.(Pocono)
