Magical Mike winners

Timesareachanging became the first-ever Little Brown Jug winner to come back the following year to capture the Magical Mike Pace for older horses when the 4-year-old gelding won the first of two $63,200 divisions Thursday afternoon at the Delaware, Ohio County Fairgrounds.



Ron Pierce was in the sulky behind Timesareachanging, who crossed the wire in 1:53 after setting a relatively soft pace of :27.4, :57.1 and 1:25.4. Life Sizzles (Brian Sears) finished second with Scott Is A Leader (Luc Ouellette) third.



Suprisingly, the win was the first of the year for Timesareachanging in 10 starts after winning 10 times last year while earning more than $1.1 million.



The son of Cam's Card Shark is trained by Brett Pelling for owner Perfect World Enterprises.



Hot and heavy action in the second division resulted in a 1:52 win for Maltese Artist and driver Brian Sears. Ponder finished second for Jack Moiseyev with He Wants It All third for Tony Morgan.



A 4-year-old gelded son of Artiscape, Maltest Artist won for the ninth time in 23 starts this year. Mickey Burke trains for owners Leon, Howard and Koran.
