Martha’s Revenge finally got revenge, capturing the first of two non-wagering divisions of the Indiana Sire Stakes for 3-year-old filly pacers in 1:53. The second split went to Go On BB in 1:53.1.

Martha’s Revenge scored her first victory of the year in convincing fashion, drawing off over the last quarter in :26.1 for a five-length triumph over Francie’s Dream. The mile was a lifetime mark by more than four seconds for the daughter of Dontgetinmyway trained by James Dailey and driven by Don Irvine Jr. The filly is a homebred owned by Kathy Ratcliff and Jerry Zosel.

In the second division Go On BB continued her domination of the Sire Stakes, going wire to wire for an easy three-quarter-length victory over the closing Northern Lei Ann. Richard Macomber Jr. drove the Michael Burke trainee to her eighth win of the season in nine starts for owner Frank Baldachino.
