The second showdown between Always B Miki, Freaky Feet Pete and Wiggle It Jiggleit is set for Saturday’s Haughton Memorial at the Meadowlands, but the race also set the stage for a showdown on social media regarding the race conditions, which spells out the distance be 1 1/8 miles and capped at 12 starters. Wiggle It Jiggleit’s owner George Teague and Always B Miki’s owner Bob Boni were vociferous in their opinions about the extra eighth and two trailers, and they and a few others gave their thoughts to Gordon Waterstone in the new and free HarnessRacing Weekend Preview.

Drivers Brian Sears and Brett Miller also talk about their respective chances with Control The Moment and Racing Hill in the Meadowlands Pace, and Yannick Gingras tells why he believes his mare Hannelore Hanover will beat the boys in the Hambletonian Maturity. Julie Miller talked to Kathy Parker about her trotter Sutton in a Stanley Dancer division, and Jonas Czernyson reveals why he bypassed the Dancer with Brooklyn Hill.
