Michelles Power equaled her own track record with another scintillating 1:50.1 victory in Monday night\'s single $115,000(C) Ontario Sire Stakes Gold elimination for 3-year-old filly pacers at Mohawk.

After a recall had been issued initially, the field got away cleanly the second time around and driver Jody Jamieson got Michelles Power away seventh in the field of 10 and watched as Milliondollarsmile parked to the opening half in :54.2.

Michelles Power was underway in the second quarter and briefly picked up the cover of Iola M who quickly surged to command on the way to three-quarters in 1:22.2. Despite being left uncovered, Michelles Power continued to advance and had wrestled command as the field turned into the stretch.

Once clear, the daughter of Camluck-Michelles Jackpot held her rivals at bay with a strong :27.4 final frame. Milliondollarsmile came back on to finish a gutsy second while Queen Of Royalty finished third.

The win was the sixth in 12 starts this season for the Bill Elliott trainee and boosted her seasonal earnings to just over $430,000. Lifetime, she has banked more than $910,000 for owner Jeffrey Snyder of New York, N.Y.
