Brett Miller drove favorite Allamerican Captor and longshot Titan Spirit to victories in Saturday's (June 21) Kentucky Spring Championship eliminations for 3-year-old colt pacers at The Red Mile.
Titan Spirit started the Miller double by winning in 1:51.2 at odds of 12-1. The time was easily a career best for the son of Jate Lobell. Built To Win (Jim Meittinis) was second with Leavnona Jateplane (Tom Sells) third.
Allamerican Captor made a sweeping move from near the back of the pack to win his elim in 1:52.1. Also a son of Jate Lobell, Allamerican Captor defeated Best Of Keene (Jeff Nisonger) and Largeandincharge (Steve Waller).
