Miller wins three PASS

The Meadows played host to five divisions of the Pennsylvania Sires Stakes for 3-year-old colt and gelding pacers Saturday, and driver David Miller captured three of the divisions with Ruff Me Up in 1:51.2, Sutter Hanover in 1:51.2 and Won The West in 1:54.

Ruff Me Up (Real Artist) paced home in :27.3 for a 5 1/4-length victory for trainer Steve Elliott and owner Val D’Or Farms and Schoor Racing Stable. Sutter Hanover (Dragon Again) was a tic faster coming home for his three-length triumph for trainer Mark Harder and owners Deena Frost, Sampson Street Stables, Fox Hollow Farm and TLP Stables. And Won The West (Western Hanover) held on for a neck victory  for trainer Mickey Burke and owners Strollin Stable, William Robinson and James Koehler.

The other divisions went to Up Front Kyle (Western Hanover) wire to wire in 1:54 for Scott Coulter, trainer Bill Elliott and owner Ed Mullinax, and Big Business (Dragon Again) led from the half and drew off by 4 1/2 lengths in 1:52.3 for driver Ben Stafford Jr., trainer Ben Stafford and owners Ben Stafford Jr. and Richard Mac Leish.
