The million-dollar winner Timesareachanging overcame post eight and a sloppy racing surface to win the $15,000 Invitational Saturday afternoon in 1:55.3.

Driver Ron Pierce sent Timesareachanging flying off the gate and passed up a hole in the first turn, eventually clearing to the lead at about the quarter-mile mark (reached in :27.3). Last year's Little Brown Jug winner, Timesareachanging paced uncontested to the half in :57.4 before Western Prince challenged first-over.

At about the three-quarter station (1:26.4) Western Prince began to fade and driver Yannick Gingras sent Sand Sax three wide. Sand Sax kept coming but Timesareachanging held on for a neck win.

The victory was the second of the season for Timesareachanging in 13 starts. He had finished fourth in the Allerage Pace at The Red Mile in his previous start. His only previous victory came in the Magical Mike Invitational on Jug Day at Delaware this year.
