Mucho Sleazy captured the $145,000 American National 2-yar-old colt pace in 1:51.3 at
After an opening quarter in :27.2 Mike Oosting moved Mucho Sleazy from fourth first-over and the Sportsmaster gelding moved even with the pace-setting Littlebitoflife before the 1:23.3 three quarters. In the lane Mucho Sleazy drew away from the field, but in deep stretch Lets Getit Started and Jason Dillander quickly closed to be second with Art Official and Del Chup edging Sand Shooter for third.
This was the sixth win of the year in 16 starts for Mucho Sleazy, who is owned by the Engel Stable and trained by Ken Rucker.
