Numeric Hanover, a 3-year-old daughter of Real Artist, captured the $210,000 Nadia Lobell final at The Red Mile Monday night (Sept. 8) by a slim nose over Animated Art. The time of the mile was 1:51, lowering Numeric Hanover's lifetime mark from 1:53.1f.

Dave Palone drove Numeric Hanover to the victory for trainer Bill Robinson. They enjoyed a two-hole trip for most of the mile while Animated Art, with Mike Lachance up, set the pace. Remember When, the Fan Hanover winner last month, never got into the flow after starting from post eight and rallied for fifth, three lengths behind the winner.

Numeric Hanover picked up the biggest stakes win of her career. She had failed to advance to the finals of both the Fan Hanover and Mistletoe Shalee.
