Last month it was the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale that set records and in November it’s the Standardbred Horse Sales Co. Yearling Sale that is doing the same. In the new and free HarnessRacing Weekend Preview, we have the story of the record-breaking three days of the yearling sale.

The featured event on the track this weekend is Sunday’s Potomac Invitational Pace, and American History is looking to go back-to-back following his win last time out in the Breeders Crown final. Trainer Tony Alagna talks about American History’s chances in a field that includes reigning Horse of the Year McWicked. Courtly Choice is also in the race, and trainer Blake MacIntosh talks about what he hopes is a better trip for the 2018 Little Brown Jug champ.

Although it’s a non-wagering contest, there is a sure winner on Sunday at Pompano Park. And last Saturday was longtime Meadows announcer Roger Huston’s last day at the track he’s called home for 44 years. Finally, while Bettor’s Wish is returning to the racetrack in 2020, several stars are not and will be heading to stallion duty.
