Tis the week before the Fall Final Four and TVG finals and some of those headed to the Nov. 21 events are in action this weekend in conditioned races at the Meadowlands. in the new and free HarnessRacing Weekend Preview, driver Yannick Gingras gives his take on starting from post 10 with JK Alwaysbalady and David Miller talks about Blue Diamond Eyes, both 2-year-old filly pacers headed to the Three Diamonds. As for the colt pacers, Metro winner Exploit is gearing up for the Governor’s Cup, and driver Joe Bongiorno gives some insight into the colt’s last two starts.

Following Exploit’s race at the Big M, Joe will head over to Yonkers where his drives include Peace Out Posse, who is looking for his third straight. It was a long journey for Peace Out Posse to Yonkers, and trainer Jenn Bongiorno gives the details. She also talks about her new purchase, the 3-year-old filly trotter Battle Queen, who is 21-for-24 on the Iowa fair circuit.

Mike Wilder has been one of the most successful drivers at The Meadows for many years, but he’s branching out this winter to train babies at Spring Garden Ranch with his father-in-law, Dan Altmeyer. He spoke to Kathy Parker about the decision.

We caught up with some other trainers as they prepare for winter training, whether up north or in the warm Florida sunshine. One of those trainers, Nancy Takter, also talked about bringing Tall Dark Stranger to his new home at Hanover Shoe Farms, where he’ll stand stud in 2021.
And even though he has yet to post a victory this year, Lindy The Great is having a pretty good campaign as he is the second-richest older male trotter. If he can finally find the winner’s circle in an overnight on Friday night at the Big M—a prep for the TVG final—he can surpass $1 million in career earnings.
