Last year there was a page on Facebook dedicated to “Nick Salvi should have his own reality TV show!” Beginning today, HarnessRacing Weekend Preview—which is FREE and available by clicking the box at the top of the home page or the link below—and the well-known Salvi have teamed up for a “reality show in written form,” which can be read in “The Florida Files.”

Salvi, who is winter-based a stone’s throw from Pompano Park, will provide reports from Florida for the FREE Weekend Preview that is available every Friday morning, including today’s initial installment regarding a recent trip he took to the Sunshine Meadows training center, a home to many, many champion racehorses over the years.

While Salvi and his renowned flip-flops are basking in the Florida sunshine, New Meadowlands track operator Jeff Gural has to be smiling as well after a strong opening last weekend. There are plenty of stories regarding this week’s racing at the Big M, including a look at a pair of Clyde Hirt Series hopefuls. Also, Jimmy Takter has an update on his stables stars, including Presidential contender Vintage Master.

All this and more, including FREE program pages of the weekend’s featured races, can be found in the Weekend Preview, which can be viewed by clicking here. You can open the WeekendPreview in your browser or save it to you computer to read. Salvi's column is on page 8.
