Trainer Tony Alagna already has a solid contender for the upcoming Governor's Cup in recent Breeders Crown 2-Year-Old Colt Pace champ Stay Hungry, but on Saturday night at the Meadowlands he sends out the lightly-raced American Pastime and Captain Deo, a pair of hopefuls for the last stakes event of the year for freshmen. In the new and free HarnessRacing Weekend Preview, Alagna and co-owner Myron Bell talk about the chances of the two-for-two American Pastime to head to the Governor's Cup elims still undefeated.

Another strong Governor's Cup contender is Metro Pace winner Lost In Time, who captured his Breeders Crown elimination but then came up short in the final. Lost In Time has found a new home, with Ohio-based conditioner and co-owner Jim Mulinix bringing the colt to New Jersey-based Jimmy Takter for the Governor's Cup. Mulinix tells why the move was made and what to expect in 2018.

We also recap the three-day yearling sale at Harrisburg. And find out where Downbytheseaside will be standing stallion duty next year as well as an update on Breeders Crown 3-Year-Old Filly Pace winner Blazin Britches.
