Adriano Sorella has had "Jimmy on his mind" lately. Three days after attending a taping of Jimmy Fallon's late-night show in New York City, he paid the $61,000 supplemental fee for Jimmy Freight into the Meadowlands Pace. In the new and free HarnessRacing Weekend Preview, Sorella reveals to Gordon Waterstone his thought process on entering his colt into the Pace, which has two eliminations on Saturday night.

The Big M was lightning-fast last weekend, and driver David Miller talks about the quick surface with Kathy Parker. Miller also talks about Meadowlands Pace elim starter Nutcracker Sweet, who just missed capturing the $500,000 Hempt final last Saturday at Pocono Downs.

Nutcracker Sweet is trained by Jimmy Takter, who also talked to Parker about that horse as well as others in his barn, including trotters Wolfgang, Ariana G and Tactical Landing. He also talked about the injury that kept Lost In Time out of the Meadowlands Pace and sidelined him for the rest of the year, and Down Under star Lazarus, who is about a month away from qualifying.

The Nadia Lobell for 3-year-old filly pacers is set for Friday night at Hoosier Park. Also, Jackson Harness Raceway is heading toward demolition, but not before horsemen and fans gather one last time on Sunday at the Michigan track to remember the half-mile oval.
