***New***Wire To Wire

January 10, 2008

« Return to News

Andrew Cohen is back with a new Wire To Wire column, and he says it’s “Old Home Week” at the Meadowlands as Ken Rucker has signed a new confidential agreement with the Meadowlands and is back as an official trainer, and driver Eric Ledford now has his New Jersey Racing license for 2008 and is likely on his way. The two horsemen, of course, were not permitted to compete at the track in 2007.

“So it’s back to the future; two tarnished trainers get to return to a tarnished track to see if they can begin to regain their reputations and credibility among their colleagues and the betting public. Is this fair? Is it right? Should the industry have simply banished them forever from its marquee track?” You can read Andrew’s thoughts by clicking here.
