Miss Eleonora, Vonda Boko, Muscles McNuggets and Klipspringer captured their respective divisions of the $95,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes for 2-year-old filly trotters Thursday night at the Meadowlands.

Miss Eleonora, a bargain $3,500 yearling purchase by Keytech Trotting Stable, trotted the fastest of the trio of splits with a 1:58 effort for driver Ron Pierce. The daughter of Enjoy Lavec was able to outduel Sand Maralargo (Brian Sears) to the wire for the nose decision, with Celebrity Sweedie (Marcus Johannson) 5 ¼ lengths back in third.

The win was the first of the year in three starts for Miss Eleonora, who is trained by Antonella Galie.

Vonda Boko prevailed at odds of 2-5 but it wasn't easy as she just hung on by a nose over Gracious Glide with Drugeda a neck behind in the blanket finish. Trainer-driver Trond Smedshammer directed Vonda Boko to the 1:59.4 victory.

An $80,000 yearling purchase by Boko Stables Sweden, Vonda Boko is a daughter of Self Possessed. She won her only previous start on July 6 when she captured a baby race in 2:00.1.

The other two NJSS splits were held as a non-betting race prior to the pari-mutuel card and they went to Klipspringer and Muscles McNuggets.

Klipspringer, a homebred daughter of Banker Hall of Menhammar Stuteri trained by Jonas Czernyson and driven by David Miller, romped to a 12 1/4-length victory in 1:57. The other non-betting affair went to Muscles McNuggets, who reached the wire in 1:59.3 and a head better than Winning Sister. Sears directed the $65,000 yearling purchase of Hans Skold for trainer Robert Turner.
