Goodlookngirl and driver Jeff Gregory won the opening $35,896 New York Sire Stakes division for 3-year-old filly trotters at Yonkers Raceway Friday night (Aug. 29).



Gregory directed the daughter of Giant Hit from the outside eight post to the 2:01.2 score, her second of the year in 10 starts.



Also winning their respective $35,196 NYSS divisions were: Esta Kash (El Paso Kash), who won in 2:01.4 for trainer-driver Clint Galbraith; Mother El Paso (El Paso Kash), who won in 2:04.1 for trainer-driver John Stark Jr.; and Miss Gibbons (Giant Hit), who overcame a break at the start to win in 2:01.1 for trainer-driver Howard Gill.



There were also three $38,802 NYSS divisions for 2-year-old filly pacers contested, with Donna's Girl the fastest by virtue of her 1:59.2 clocking. Gregory guided the Village Jove daughter to her fourth win in six starts.



L Dees Aunt Ang, a daughter of Magical Mike, won her NYSS split in 2:00.3 for driver Mario Lachance. Capturing the final split was LT's Magic, a daughter of Magical Mike who won in 2:00.2 for driver Tom Haughton.
