O-Georgie, a seven-year-old trotting gelding starting for the initial time for the Tyler Raymer Stable, won the $20,000-$25,000 claiming handicap trot Friday evening at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.

With Tony Morgan in the sulky, O-Georgie crossed the finish line in 1:56.2 for the first win in 2010 on the 13th start.
The winner was claimed for $20,000 by Raymer, H.R. and H. Solomon of Rockville Center, N.Y., and S.M. Moss of Philadelphia, Pa., on Sept. 4.

George Napolitano Jr., North America’s leading driver and the track’s top man, collected a driving triple through the first 11 races of the 15-race card, giving him a total of 239 victories at the five-eighths mile oval.

Matt Kakaley and Anthony Napolitano had driving doubles Friday evening while top trainer Ron Burke had one win, giving him 75 on the season at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs to lead the way in the trainer standings. (Pocono Downs)
