The Ohio Senate passed a resolution and a bill Wednesday (Oct. 15) that could put a constitutional amendment on the primary ballot next March which would call for allowing video lottery terminals at the state's racetracks.

Legislation and a resolution calling for a referendum on VLTs at the tracks must be passed by both the Ohio House and Senate to put the measure on the ballot. The vote in the Senate was 24-9 in favor of the resolution and 21-12 in favor of the bill.
