Olympic Trot field set

Post positions for the Olympic Trot, Sweden's first international test of the season, has been drawn. Ten trotters will go to the post in the race Saturday, April 17, which is arranged at the Åby track in Gothenburg to raise funds for the Swedish Olympic team.



From the rail out, the field and drivers include, Archduke Kemp (Stig H. Johansson), Alesi Om (Giampaolo Minnucci), Steinlager (P.O. Midtfjeld), Hilda Zonett (Robert Bergh), Naglo (Orjan Kihlström), Tout Ou Rien (Bjorn Goop), Revenue (Lutfi Kolgjini), Gidde Palema (Åke Svanstedt), Noa Savoy (Jorma Kontio) and Couch Doctor (Johanna Lindqvist). Alesi OM, Hilda Zonett and Naglo have been given wild cards into the race. The others qualified in previous eliminations.



The race over 2,140 meters will have a purse of $105,820 going to the winner.
